Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Head of Pricing & Underwriting (Accident & Health), the Pricing Analyst will coordinate pricing activities for our International Health and Dental insurance portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine pricing models to optimise business decision-making and client outcomes.
- Utilise advanced data manipulation tools to enhance data efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- Lead annual renewal pricing and product reviews, leveraging scheme data to drive performance improvements.
- Conduct comprehensive product and rate reviews, adapting benefits and pricing strategies as necessary.
- Monitor and analyse sales and underwriting performance, applying market research to drive best practices.
- Implement community and experience-rated pricing strategies, identifying trends and opportunities within data.
- Collaborate with the reserving team to ensure accurate IBNR and reserve calculations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
- Deep technical pricing expertise in the Global Health market.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical pricing and modeling.
- Experience with earning patterns, chain ladders, and P&L analysis.
- Proven track record in pricing new and renewing portfolios across multiple geographic regions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Consumer lines (Health products preferred) Insurance experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with SQL/SAS/Tableau/Power BI advantageous.
- Awareness of insurance regulations and progression towards Data Analyst/Actuarial qualifications desirable.
