St Dunstan’s College is an independent co-educational school in Rynfield, Benoni, founded in 1918. From its humble beginnings as an Anglican Parish Preparatory School, St Dunstan’s has grown into a leading independent institution that includes the original Preparatory School, a Pre-School and a College.

The focus is on the holistic development of the children to prepare them for the start of formal education in Grade 1. The children’s emotional, social, physical and intellectual development is nurtured in a loving environment.

St Dunstan’s Pre-School is looking for a dynamic Grade 0 Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to be a part of an innovative team who aim to inspire so that all flourishes.

PRE-SCHOOL TEACHER – GRADE 0

Commencement Date: 1 May 2025 – Negotiable

The successful candidate must:

1. have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Bachelor’s Degree + Post Graduate Certificate in Education (in Early Childhood Development or Foundation Phase) and be SACE registered.
2. have Pre-School and/or Grade 0 experience.
3. be a committed, organised, dynamic, innovative and motivated teacher.
4. be computer literate and confident in the use of technology.
5. have good English written and verbal skills.
6. be able to work within a team-based environment and collaborate with other teachers, interns, assistant teachers and the Head of the Pre-School.
7. fulfil supervision duties as assigned – including some morning, evening, and weekend events.
8. show commitment and uphold the ethos, values and the vision of the St Dunstan’s College.
9. appreciate working in a Christian, Anglican environment.
