Job description

The individual in this role is responsible for facilitating CFO Services Department processes and ensuring processes run smoothly. The ideal candidate has an exceptional standard of communication and can keep communication flowing between other departments to ensure Client success. Beyond that, you will be ensuring that the CFO services department delivers consistently on its promises by holding the fort with the administration of the business processes.

Reporting directly to the Head of CFO Services.

Job responsibilities will include, among others:

Team Capacity and Planning

  1. Review and align team capacity and POD planning on Zoho.
  2. Ensure accuracy of Zoho projects with OPS team.
  3. Assist POD Leaders with projects and annual CFO retainer services.
  4. Conduct quarterly reviews of individual planning and investigate timesheet variances.
  5. Plan and schedule annual client success initiatives.

Supporting Head of CFO Services

  1. Manage and execute 90-day projects.
  2. Prepare data and reports for weekly Level 10 and CFO leadership meetings.

Practice Administration

  1. Review software subscriptions, client recharges, and billing accuracy.
  2. Align engagement letters with billing and oversee SARS e-filing notifications.
  3. Arrange training and ensure compliance.

Team and Client Success

  1. Organize team events, onboarding/offboarding, and identify upsell opportunities.
  2. Manage client onboarding, rescoping needs, and database accuracy on Zoho CRM.
  3. Conduct weekly client calls and support leadership with admin tasks.

  3. Complete training, certifications, and ensure team upskilling on tools and software.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a Bcom graduate who completed CIMA, SAIPA, or AGA. Project management experience, and experience with an accounting services division would be advantageous.
