Responsibilities:

1. Understanding and ability to read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems.
2. Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubes.
3. Installing and maintaining water supply systems.
4. Locate and repair issues with water supply lines, fix leaks, replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, and other fixtures.
5. Installing domestic appliances such as washing machines and sinks/basins.
6. Attend to general plumbing issues.
7. Fixing and maintaining faulty geysers.
8. Implement preventative measures to avoid unnecessary future costs.
9. Conducting general maintenance.
10. Managing budget.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license and own transport.
2. Well-spoken as you will on occasion deal directly with retail and residential clients/tenants.
3. Valid ID or Passport and work visa.
4. Trade Test Certificate (Plumbing).
5. Reporting skills.
6. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a dedicated plumber.
7. Ability to work unsupervised.
8. Ability to work after hours and weekends for emergencies.
9. Ability to work with a variety of client/tenant types: Residential, retail, student.
10. Attention to detail.
11. Professional.
12. Computer Literate (MS Office).
13. Proficient in English.
