Responsibilities

Job Overview: The role of the incumbent is to maintain the sieve room spare stock levels, partake in sifter maintenance, sieve stretching, and general plant maintenance.

1. Spares stock control
2. Sieve stretching
3. Plant sifter and purifier maintenance
4. Liaise with Mill team on requirements
5. Conduct safety and cleanliness checks
6. Maintain good housekeeping standards
7. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
8. Adhere to safety requirements
9. Conduct bin dips
10. Cleaning of the Mill area
11. Will be required to do general plant maintenance

Qualifications

Health and safety standards

1. Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification (Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL] will be applied based on SETA accreditations)
2. 6 months experience in a similar environment will be advantageous
3. Computer literacy will be needed
4. Forklift license will be an advantage
