The ideal candidate must have an appropriate university degree (BSC; B.Eng. Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical) and World Class Manufacturing Instructor certification (added advantage), with a minimum of 10 years’ demonstrable experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment. Minimum of 5 years of Operations/Plant management experience in a continuously evolving manufacturing environment where WCM/TPM and ISO practices are well entrenched. This role calls for a person with the ability to coach and develop others. The ideal candidate will need exposure in plant turnaround strategy, good communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
The primary purpose of the Plant Manager will be to develop, integrate, and drive the operations strategy to ensure the delivery of overall business objectives. The Plant Manager will take accountability for technical aspects of manufacturing within Insulation and on a national basis, leading the teams across these divisions to deliver continuous improvement in processes and procedures.
