Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for managing and coordinating direct reports and manufacturing activities, utilizing systems knowledge of product function, WCM methodology, procedures and machine and equipment capabilities.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing facility including overseeing plant production, materials, equipment and tools to ensure efficiency is maintained and projects remain on schedule.
  3. Ensure compliance with EHS and TMC regulations and guidelines to uphold quality expectations of customer and company.
  4. Manage workforce planning to ensure proper staffing levels to maintain productivity (i.e., order readiness, customer specs, speed trials, etc.)
  5. Ensure all TMC standards and customer commitments (i.e., safety, waste reductions, output, etc.) are followed within the plant.
  6. Partner with the Warehouse to ensure production is delivered on time in full as per the demand plan to ensure delivery of the required level of Customer Service.
  7. Apply WCM AM methodologies to ensure continuous improvement of Yield and availability in line with the annual budget. This will include deployment of AM projects and use of basic tools in the workshop.
  8. Identify the Capital Investment Projects required to deliver the Production workshop Budget and Long-Range Plan.

Minimum Requirements: You will need to have 5 years’ experience in a Production or Process discipline in a continuous process manufacturing environment, with 3 years’ experience in a management/leadership role. Computer Literacy: MS Office & SAP and Web-based data management systems (GXO, DMS). Knowledge of and can work within ISO9000, ISO14000, and OSHAS18000 systems.
