As a strategic financial business partner, the Planning and Controlling Senior Analyst, supported by a team of analysts, delivers relevant financial insights to senior stakeholders to drive profitable growth.
What will make you successful in this role?
- Mentor and lead a team of Planning and Controlling Analysts (Finance Business Partners) across multiple locations.
- Provide senior stakeholders with concise, high-quality analysis and value-added insights to support management decisions.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly or quarterly reporting documents.
- Engage with and support the Life and GI clusters in strengthening their controlling capabilities.
- Manage the preparation of strategic and budgetary processes, including forecasts, rolling forecasts, and budgets.
- Supervise and coordinate internal planning and budgeting for SanlamAllianz in collaboration with the Life and GI clusters.
- Support the development and standardisation of financial planning and control tools, procedures, and controlling standards across SanlamAllianz.
- Continuously challenge current processes and organizational structures to improve the overall finance function.
- Assist the Central Head of Planning and Controlling and the Group CFO in preparing presentations for the Board and Executive Committee.
Qualification and Experience
- Master’s degree in finance, audit, actuarial or MBA.
- At least 5 years in a similar role and 3 years working in the insurance industry.
- Planning and Controlling experience is essential.
Knowledge and Skills
- Insurance financials.
- Financial controlling software (SAP, HfM).
- Cost controlling.
