Piping Site Supervisor

Your responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

1. Activities are performed safely and in compliance with the applicable project OSH policy, local laws and statutory requirements, such as relevant tk Uhde guidelines or directives.
2. Construction activities are executed according to contractual obligations / specifications with regard to quality and time schedule.
3. Welding procedures, testing procedures and guidelines are followed.
4. Welder qualification certificates are valid for the specific work scope.
5. Welding documentation is maintained correctly.
6. Project quality program for his/her allocated scope is communicated and applied.
7. Inspections are executed according to the project quality program.

Tasks:

1. Perform planned task observations.
2. Control construction work packages for his/her discipline and area with respect to personnel, equipment, materials and documents, incl. availability of method statements, risk assessment and work permits.
3. Supervise construction activities carried out by the subcontractors with respect to compliance with project specifications, safe working procedures and support pre-commissioning activities.
4. Prepare deviation reports.
5. Cooperate with other disciplines.
6. Monitor qualification of subcontractors’.
7. Monitor suitability of subcontractors’ equipment.

Your profile

The candidate must be in possession of the following:

Education:

• Level II Inspector (SAIW)

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as Piping supervisor.
• Prior site supervision experience in multi-disciplinary projects, preferably as an EC.
• Experience on mining and petrochemical project.
