Your responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Activities are performed safely and in compliance with the applicable project OSH policy, local laws and statutory requirements, such as relevant tk Uhde guidelines or directives.
- Construction activities are executed according to contractual obligations / specifications with regard to quality and time schedule.
- Welding procedures, testing procedures and guidelines are followed.
- Welder qualification certificates are valid for the specific work scope.
- Welding documentation is maintained correctly.
- Project quality program for his/her allocated scope is communicated and applied.
- Inspections are executed according to the project quality program.
Tasks:
- Perform planned task observations.
- Control construction work packages for his/her discipline and area with respect to personnel, equipment, materials and documents, incl. availability of method statements, risk assessment and work permits.
- Supervise construction activities carried out by the subcontractors with respect to compliance with project specifications, safe working procedures and support pre-commissioning activities.
- Prepare deviation reports.
- Cooperate with other disciplines.
- Monitor qualification of subcontractors’.
- Monitor suitability of subcontractors’ equipment.
Your profile
The candidate must be in possession of the following:
Education:
- Level II Inspector (SAIW)
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as Piping supervisor.
- Prior site supervision experience in multi-disciplinary projects, preferably as an EC.
- Experience on mining and petrochemical project.
