Picker Packer Team Leader

Job Description:

Company specializing in Manufacturing irrigation piping and components seeks a Picker Packer Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

1. Accurate picking and packing of orders.
2. Monitoring picking duration and accuracy, and picklist traceability.
3. Communicating and investigating stock and picking discrepancies.
4. Loading and off-loading of trucks and containers.
5. Receiving stock into the warehouse and storing it in dedicated locations.
6. Assisting with writing waybills when needed.
7. Assisting with regular stock counts.
8. Assisting customers with collections.
9. Preparing parcels for after-hour collection at security.
10. Assisting with other warehouse activities as required.
11. Managing time, attendance, and discipline of the team.
12. Participating in HSE activities, housekeeping, and pro-active reporting.
13. Participating in operation excellence and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

1. Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
3. Technical assembly experience (advantageous).
4. Eligible writing and good numeracy skills.
5. Willingness to do labor-intensive work.
6. Ability to work independently and within a team.
7. Valid SA driver’s license and/or reliable transport.
8. Valid forklift license with driving experience (advantageous).
