Responsibilities :

1. Ensure the safety and security of all staff and customers while adhering to all procedures and policies.
2. Interact with customers / employees in a courteous manner while applying security policies and procedures and offering an efficient security service.
3. Evaluate security systems and procedures and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.
4. Liaise with senior management as well as outside security organizations and SAP services.
5. Perform all security duties according to company policies and procedures.
6. Follow correct emergency procedures.
7. Ensure that security procedures are adhered to by employees and customers.
8. Identify possible security risks, take appropriate action, and inform relevant people.
9. Safeguard company assets.
10. Be consistently alert / vigilant / aware of what is going on by scanning for areas that need attention and taking the required corrective action.
11. Handle challenging customers, stand for long hours, and perform routine work.
12. Assist with alarm call outs if necessary.

Minimum Requirements :

1. Must have a security qualification with a minimum of 2 years Retail Industry experience.
2. Must be registered with SIRA / SOB and have grade C registration.
3. Must have own reliable transport.
4. Must be able to lead by example.
5. Able to work flexible hours / shifts.
6. Must be contactable at all times.
