Our client is looking for a Senior Executive Broker to sell rare coin and medallions to high net-worth individuals, which involves high standards of client service. It also involves selling Krugerrands.
A Senior Broker is expected to perform at high levels of sales given their years of service coupled with their competence and past sales record.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Sales
• Sells Krugerrands, rare coins and medallions from online leads, personal networks, referrals and telephone enquiries using relationship selling, storytelling and client service skills to make at least their monthly minimum rare sales expectation.
• Sells and actively promotes newly launched product and other available stock to active and potential clients.
• Contacts leads provided by the Company without undue delay and gives feedback on these leads as required by the Company.
• Attends to transactions and documentation in the sales process to ensure that they are accurate and complete. Follows the Company’s policies, procedures and standards in this regard.
• Co-ordinates / initiates collection / delivery / SafeGold membership arrangements for the client.
• Attends to any client enquiries by solving them or directing the client appropriately.
• Makes regular contact with clients through e-mail communication, Whatsapps, visits and telephone.
• Continually networks and seeks to find new clients. New Client Acquisition is a critical and important function of any person in sales.
• Continually hones and updates sales and product knowledge and skills.
• Stays up to date with trends and industry pricing of gold, silver and platinum.
• Attends events to acquire new business, which may be after hours and on weekends.
Client Service
• Maintains and nurtures the relationship with clients post any sale.
• Ensures that the sales process is closed i.e. that the client has received the necessary documentation and coin/medallion or that the coin/ medallion has been placed into SafeGold if this membership has been concluded.
• Keeps clients are informed of delivery and / or collection details.
• Troubleshoots on behalf of clients.
• Keeps in touch with clients on their special occasions e.g. Birthdays.
• Ensures that clients’ details are captured correctly and properly on the Company’s CRM system.
• Utilises the information on the CRM system to ensure that clients are offered the highest level of service.
Trade Exchanges
• Initiates Trade Exchanges in accordance with the Company’s Trade Exchange Policy, procedures, rules and regulations.
General
• Participates in meetings and events as required by the Company, which some may occur over weekends and after normal working hours.
• Provides regular reports and feedback on pipeline, new client acquisition, sales achievement and other relevant focus areas as required.
