Job description

Will manage a high level corporate client.

The successful candidate will need to:

  1. Ensure all quote requests are submitted correctly and within the companies time frame as set out in our SLA’s.
  2. Negotiate with suppliers for the best possible price in order to maintain beneficial GP.
  3. Offer and suggest alternative product and/or services in order to meet end users deadlines.
  4. Provide first line sales telephonic assistance to customers.
  5. Identify sales opportunities.
  6. Manage production of all orders and ensuring orders are delivered as per company SLA’s and/or to meet clients delivery deadline.
  7. Follow up on quotations and production.
  8. Communicate & update the external sales executive on all production and quotations.
  9. Assist management with ad hoc projects and requests where necessary.
  10. Ensure documentation is submitted timeously.
  11. Ensure production schedule is updated daily.
  12. In-depth CI knowledge for all allocated customers as candidate will be approving artwork with suppliers.
  13. Various office administrative duties.
  14. Work with various departments within the company to ensure orders are completed in time and according to our company standards – includes briefing departments accordingly in order for them to fulfill their duties.
  15. Manage day to day running of the onsite corporate store.
  16. Work closely together with the brand experience team.
  17. Support the brand experience team with bespoke and stock order requirements.
  18. Weekly reporting in terms of bespoke orders, production, ops.
  19. Securing of orders – bespoke and ad hoc.
  20. Off site event support – weekends and or evenings will be required from time to time.
  21. Assist in Sales Reporting: Prepare and generate sales reports, including sales performance, inventory levels, and customer analytics. Provide regular updates on sales metrics to the sales team and management.
  22. Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes.
  23. Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
  24. Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
  25. Manage schedules and deadlines.
  26. Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations.
  27. Help prepare sales presentations.
  28. Handle Inquiries and Correspondence: Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via email, phone, or in-person. Provide information about products, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules. Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues by coordinating with relevant departments.
  29. Coordinate Sales Events: Assist in organizing sales events, trade shows, and conferences. Coordinate logistics, manage registrations, and provide on-site support when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. At least 3-5 years’ experience in sales administration, quoting and/or production.
  2. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  3. Managing Production and/or knowledge of production.
  4. Knowledge of CI and CAD approvals will be beneficial.
  5. Excellent ability to plan, organise & handle customer queries.
  6. Sense of urgency.
  7. Must have own vehicle.
  8. Computer Literate (MS Office, Netsuite, Accpac or Sage).
  9. Must be proficient in English & Afrikaans.
  10. Strong phone presence and willing to telephonically call clients and suppliers and speak to them.
  11. Must have at least 5 years experience in managing a team.

This person needs to be confident and presentable (take pride in their appearance). Position will require regular travel to other provinces and servicing clients across Gauteng. Running of one of our corporate stores in Silverton and reporting into the Client Director.
