Mission of the Role: Electrum’s mission is to have impact through payments technology. The mission of this role is to ensure that every Electrolite is in the right position, playing to their strengths, so that the whole Electrum team can move together towards achieving the Electrum mission.

Key Requirements
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the People Operations (HR) team of 4 individuals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- People Operating System: Maintain and evolve the fundamental operating system that supports Electrum's purpose and drives the company's mission forward. This includes:

- Management and coordination of people related processes such as payroll, leave, recruitment, performance and remuneration.
- Maintaining people related policies.
- Maintaining people related knowledge pieces such as wiki pages that describe our best practices.
- Managing all people related metrics and information such as headcount and reporting to the management team.
- Acting as a point of contact for Employee relations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with people related company policies (aka HR policies) and industry regulations.
- Budget: Oversee and manage the People Operations budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Strategy: Development of our People Strategy in consultation with key business stakeholders; execute with the People Operations (HR) team.
- Learning and Development: Collaborate with the Knowledge and Learning team to identify and develop programmes.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Physical Sciences.
- 5+ years of experience in the HR space. We are looking for at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner or something similar.
- Demonstrated experience in:

- Managing a People Operations (aka HR) team who are responsible for talent acquisition and generalist activities.
- Maintaining compliance with the relevant regulations.
- Budget planning and control.
- Managing and supporting knowledge workers.
- Implementing new processes or policies as part of projects.
- Advantageous:

- Experience in the software engineering industry.
- Experience in a recruitment role.
- Experience in coaching.
