Westfalia Fruit Estate situated in Limpopo, Tzaneen, has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced:

People & Culture Business Partner

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the incumbent will be responsible for providing HR generalist support including organisational development, recruitment within authority matrix, support IR with handling of disciplines, consult with operations on IR matters, and facilitate HR compliance with all labour legislation (EE, BCEA, NMW, Sectoral Determination, LRA, SDA etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure organisational charts are continuously updated.
  2. Develop and update job descriptions.
  3. Develop and implement Employment Equity plans.
  4. Review succession plans and risk profiles.
  5. Facilitate EE committee.
  6. Work closely with operations and consult as required.
  7. Offer advisory support to day-to-day operational needs.
  8. Support ER specialist with investigations and chairing of disciplinary hearings.
  9. Conduct onboarding and induction training.
  10. Conduct interviews with employees after probation.
  11. Ensure managers conduct performance reviews on probation.
  12. Work closely with talent to monitor and implement IDPs.
  13. Conduct exit interviews for salaried employees.
  14. Implement centralized personnel record-keeping system.
  15. Manage internal P&C database.
  16. Draft P&C policies & procedures.

Education:

  1. Matric is required.
  2. Minimum 3 years post-matric qualification in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
  3. Postgraduate degree qualification desired.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HRBP or HR Management role.
  2. Must have experience in Labour Relations and dealing with internal & external disputes.
  3. Must have a driver’s licence.
