Job Description:
Our client, a leading payroll outsourcing company, is searching for a highly motivated Payroll Customer Specialist to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, possess a strong aptitude for numbers, and work diligently with meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and timely processing of payroll for clients
- Professionally and promptly respond to client inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Maintain precise and up-to-date payroll records for clients
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address payroll discrepancies
- Stay informed about industry changes and updates to payroll laws and regulations
- Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new payroll software
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Willingness to work full-time during US hours
- Own laptop with a minimum of 50 Mbps RAM
- Experience in customer service/reception for 3+ years (Required)
- Experience with a 20-30 line switchboard
- Must be available immediately
Working Hours:
This is a remote working opportunity with hours spanning Monday to Friday, with shifts available from 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM SA time.
