About The Role
Payroll Supervisor

Join our dynamic team at Subtech Group (Inshore) as a Payroll Specialist! In this role, you'll ensure that our employees' remuneration, benefits, and third-party payments are processed accurately and promptly. You'll also play a crucial part in maintaining payroll compliance with statutory requirements. Role Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing.
• Ensure accurate payroll inputs by effective supervision of payroll team.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing and payment of employee monthly remuneration, benefits and third party payments.
• Prepare accurate payroll reports, returns, and reconciliations.
• Maintain updated employee payroll records in compliance with POPIA regulations.
• Maintain high quality of payroll data.
• Maintain payroll compliance with applicable legislation.
• Ensure timeous payroll system updates and back-ups.

Knowledge, Experience And Skills Required

• Human Resources/Finance related qualification.
• Certified Payroll Practitioner.
• Extensive SAGE VIP experience and certification.
• Extensive complex payroll processing experience.
• Experience with leading and mentoring a payroll team.
• Excellent understanding and working knowledge of South African, Namibian and Mozambican labour legislation.
• In-depth expat payroll knowledge and experience.
• In-depth regulatory and non-regulatory payroll reporting knowledge and skills.
• Experience in structuring employee packages.
• Experience with internal and external audits.
• In-depth knowledge of employer and employee tax.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel).
• Solid numerical reasoning with sound calculation ability.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
