Our client that is a solution a provider of large-scale, energy-efficient technologies and solutions, focusing on sectors such as marine, power generation, and industrial applications is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll and HR Officer to join their dynamic HR team on a 6 MONTH CONTRACT BASIS. This role is critical in managing payroll functions, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing general HR support. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll administration, systems management, employee benefits, and HR policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
Oversee FULL payroll functions for approximately 300 employees.
Process monthly payroll, ensure accurate tax calculations, and manage statutory payments (SARS, UIF, SDL).
Perform bi-annual IRP5 reconciliations and ad-hoc reporting.
