Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll/Finance Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing, financial administration, and proficiency in WorkBook and Sage 300. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll regulations, financial reporting, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  2. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  3. Manage employee benefits and deductions.
  4. Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and regulatory bodies.
  5. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  6. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  7. Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  8. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  9. Job accounting and reconciliation up to job closure.
  10. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll and financial operations.
  11. Utilize WorkBook and Sage 300 for payroll and financial management tasks.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll and financial administration.
  3. Proficiency in WorkBook and Sage 300.
  4. Strong understanding of payroll regulations and financial reporting standards.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  1. Experience with data migration and integration projects.
  2. Knowledge of tax directives and employee benefits management.
  3. Familiarity with South African payroll regulations and practices.
