Our client, providing payroll solutions to various sized companies, is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team. This position will be based in Pretoria East.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Basic functions and procedures on VIP Premier Payroll required for the successful completion of a payroll processing period
Accurate capturing of the following payroll input:
Loading new employees
Increases
Earnings
Deductions
Company contributions
Perks
Terminations
Leave
Capturing of payroll input using batch functionality
Knowledge of content of VIP Premier standard reports
Reconciliation of payroll
ACB Export
Backup
Start of period procedure
General payroll queries
Knowledge required ensuring that the application of the payroll complies with statutory legislation as well as more in-depth functionalities on VIP Payroll:
Taxability of earnings
Tax-deductibility of deductions
Creating an earning definition
Creating a batch layout
Stop further entry
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12
Relevant payroll related tertiary qualifications (advantageous)
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
3 + Years’ experience in a similar role
Advanced Excel skills
3 + Years’ experience using VIP Premier Payroll is non-negotiable
Ability to perform accurately and timeously under pressure
