We are looking for a skilled PLO Manager to manage and lead a team of ward hostesses.

Minimum Requirements

Skills and Competencies

1. Good command of English. An additional language will be advantageous.
2. Endurance to walk and stand for long hours.
3. Shifts, weekend work, and overtime may be required.
4. Ability to remain calm and professional at all times.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills.
6. Trustworthy and reliable.
7. Good personal hygiene.
8. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

1. Grade 12.
2. 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role.
3. Previous experience as a supervisor in a hospital environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Be the liaison between the kitchen and ward & ward hostesses.
2. Ensure that menus are delivered and collected timeously.
3. Ensure ward hostesses are dressed in full uniform.
4. Ensure service is handled efficiently and on time.
5. Liaise with the kitchen if there are any issues.
6. Make menu recommendations and inform patients of any special requirements.
7. Deliver meals and beverages to rooms when they have been prepared.
8. Check that patients are satisfied with their meal.
9. Ensure changes are communicated to the kitchen supervisor.
10. Work closely with the manager on possible risks.
