MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure that all functions at the hospital are performed in a manner that optimizes patient experience and to be responsible for the marketing of the hospital to the public.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Utilise patient experience index data to improve patient experience.
2. Manage overall patient experience within the hospital.
3. Manage patient journey campaigns.
4. Manage key account and stakeholder relations.
5. Manage and control patient experience finances.
6. Lead and manage the people in the Patient Experience Function.
7. Manage marketing and communication initiatives.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Tertiary qualification.

DESIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in human sciences (Majors in Nursing, Social Work, and Psychology).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years’ experience in a service-oriented environment/operations.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in the healthcare and service industry.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge, understanding, and application of client satisfaction best practices.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge and application of Mediclinic Marketing Strategies, Policies, and Procedures.
• The utilisation and application of Patient Experience related Administration and Survey Systems (e.g. Press Ganey).
• Understanding of the Mediclinic Patient Journey.
• Knowledge and application of Mediclinic Patient Experience Policies and Procedures.
