Job Description
A well-known export beverage company in the wine industry is looking for a talented part-time Bookkeeper / Administrator to join their finance team and support the financial operations of their international office in Zambia. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, coupled with a keen ability to work with various currencies and maintain a high level of accuracy in their work. This is a part-time, in-office position 2,5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Data entry
Assist with updating Cash Book
Help to maintain Accounts Receivable Function:
o Assist with invoicing
o Open new customer accounts
Help to maintain Accounts Payable Function:
o Capture local supplier invoices
o Capture monthly invoices from suppliers
o Reconcile accounts as needed
Capture petty cash expenses and ensure accounts match physical cash on hand
Work closely with internal and external parties in Zambia and South Africa; accounting firm, company auditors and clearing agents
Assist with website administration and stock / pricing updates for online store
Other administrative duties as required
