Job Description

Your duties will encompass:

1. Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations.
2. Liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transport companies and customers.
3. Monitor cost, quality, quantity & delivery times.
4. Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers.
5. Resolve all queries pertaining to transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports and customer complaints.
6. Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the support of the logistics team.
7. Keep track of slow moving and obsolete stock.
8. Ensure logistics performance metrics and reports are available.
9. Report on the achievement of targets and identify action plans if required.
10. Take responsibility of the department budget and targets.
11. Ensure compliance with Import/Export regulations, customs regulations and legal and health and safety requirements.
12. Conduct review of environmental audits for logistics activities.

Qualifications

BCS in Logistics, Supply Chain or related qualification.

Skills

Minimum 6 years' experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport in Automotive Manufacturing environment.
Experience in Imports and Exports, Customs regulations and Production schedules.
MS Office proficient and advanced on Excel.
Valid Passport.
