We have an amazing opportunity for a Paid Social Specialist to be based in Umhlanga, Kwa Zulu Natal. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the marketing team to help produce best-in-class campaigns that drive both engagement & conversions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing account performance, making recommendations based on your insights, & executing campaign implementation & optimization of paid social campaigns across multiple platforms & languages. The successful candidate will be the paid social expert to report on campaign performance & optimization & advise on the best strategies to achieve company goals.

You Bring

1. Valid drivers’ license.
2. Minimum 2 years of paid social media experience.
3. Overtime & weekend work.
4. Copywriting experience.
5. Social Media Strategy experience.

What You’ll Do For The Brand

1. Develop & execute paid advertising campaigns on all Hollywoodbets social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube & Snapchat.
2. Monitor & optimize campaigns to improve performance & achieve KPIs, such as but not limited to -ROAS, CPC, CTR, & CPAs.
3. Regular A/B testing & reporting on findings.
4. Conduct audience research & segmentation to target the right audience with the right message – including audience creation e.g. custom & lookalikes.
5. Initiate required audience tracking for all ad accounts when necessary.
6. Create effective digital funnels that acquire, remarket & retain customers.
7. Create & manage ad creatives, including copy.
8. Collaborate with internal teams, such as product & design, to ensure alignment & consistency in messaging.
9. Work closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure alignment of strategies.
10. Analyse campaign data & provide regular (weekly, annual & quarterly) reports on performance & insights to the Social Media Manager.
11. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, features, & best practices in social media advertising.
12. Strong knowledge of social media platforms, advertising tools, & analytics, especially Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Google (in reference to YouTube) Ads Manager.
13. Experience with A/B testing, campaign optimization, & budget management / pacing.
14. Experience with setting up effective pixel tracking, including server-side tracking.
15. Strong knowledge in audience building, including custom & lookalikes.
16. Experience with in-app advertising & knowledge of on platform app integration.
17. Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to write compelling ad copy & reports.
18. Strong analytical skills & attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data & draw actionable insights.
19. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment & manage multiple projects simultaneously.
20. Creative mindset & obsession for digital marketing.
