Nautilus Pharma is recruiting for a Packaging Buyer! The Packaging Buyer will be responsible for the procurement of packaging materials specific to Nautilus Pharma and involves negotiating and managing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for packaging materials (blister packs, bottles, cartons, etc.).
- Monitor stock levels and forecast future requirements with production and planning teams.
- Ensure all packaging materials meet the relevant GMP standards.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to meet company quality standards.
- Evaluate and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
- Develop and maintain a database of approved packaging suppliers.
- Work closely with product development, production, and logistics to align packaging with production needs.
- Stay updated on packaging trends, technologies, and innovations in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ensure staff are trained, equipped, and motivated through effective management processes.
Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree or certification (e.g., CIPS, APICS).
- 5 years procurement experience, focusing on packaging materials in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sectors.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical packaging regulations (GMP) and familiarity with various materials.
