Overhead Crane Technician - Lmi Certified

OVERHEAD CRANE TECHNICIAN – LMI CERTIFIED - URGENT

My client is looking for an experienced Overhead Crane Technician with LMI.

URGENT AVAILABILITY

Responsibilities include:

1. Install, assemble, service and overhaul, repair, load and test overhead cranes, hoists and other lifting machines and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
2. Build electrical panels for all cranes.
3. Conduct routine service inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues or malfunctions.
4. Perform repairs and troubleshoot on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components of overhead cranes.
5. Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of prescribed personal protective equipment.
7. Maintain accurate records of work performed, maintenance, and repair logs.
8. Carry out ad-hoc tasks as necessary per request from the employer.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

1. Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge, including troubleshooting and repair.
2. LMI Certified.
3. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
4. At least 5 years traceable experience.
5. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
6. Able to climb ladders, work at considerable heights and in confined spaces.
7. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
8. All admin to be completed accurately and submitted to office daily for processing.
9. Valid Driver's Licence.
