Operations Manager (Fmcg)

Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ an Operations Manager to join their dynamic team in Durban.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

1. Deliver business results in relation to the processing of product in Pinetown.
2. Manage the pack station in terms of the Intake process, Planning, Quality, and related Sales function.
3. Deliver customer and quality results.
4. Manage a team and related people issues.
5. Manage inbound and outbound distribution process.
6. Ensure maintenance functions are executed.
7. Ensure Housekeeping standards are met.
8. Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
9. Efficient cost and stock management.
10. Administration functions.
11. Identify and drive continuous improvements initiatives.
12. Compilation and submission of monthly reports.

Job Requirements:

1. Relevant 3 year Bachelor's Degree (essential).
2. Minimum of 5 – 8 years relevant management experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Successful commercial track record.
4. SageX3 experience (advantageous).
5. Ability to operate at a Senior Management level.
6. Management of capital budgets and projects.
7. Management of suppliers, service providers, and third party contractors.
8. Effective people and performance management.
