Maintenance Manager Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, taking into account asset condition, usage, and regulatory requirements.
• Team Management: Direct and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage maintenance budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
• Safety and Risk: Establish and maintain a safe working environment, identifying and mitigating potential hazards and risks.
• Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to improve maintenance outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance management or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
