Managing the Operations (Including Customer Services, Logistics, Distribution and Warehousing, Inventory Management, Quality Assurance and Customer Services staff within Company Policies and Procedures).
Essential Requirements:
Have a Commerce/Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or other equivalent and relevant degree;
At least 5-10 years proven Operations Management experience (5 of which to be on cross border transactions) in the medical devices sector;
Have good negotiating skills;
Have Warehouse/Logistics Management experience (import and export);
Have a strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management concepts and principles, import/export legislations and customs regulations, economic evaluation and financial principles;
Have strong knowledge of inventory management and control, distribution management principles and techniques;
Ability to operate at all cultural levels;
Have exposure to Foreign Purchases and Forward Exchange Contracts;
Have proven Leadership skills;
Experience in ISO9001 & ISO13485 is preferable;
Exposure and knowledge of Health and Safety Regulation required;
Exposure to business process reengineering, implementation and adoption;
Experience with cross border and merchanting transactions;
Have initiative and drive – solution provider;
Be computer literate, (include exposure to ERP systems);
Have good communication, administrative and interaction skills;
