Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Efficiency: Ensure the warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, optimizing workflows and processes to meet company standards and client expectations.
2. Team Management: Lead and manage the warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
3. Customer Service: Maintain excellent customer service standards, addressing client inquiries and issues, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
4. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability, and implementing inventory control systems to prevent discrepancies.
5. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
6. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve warehouse processes, implementing new technologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
7. Financial Management: Monitor and manage the warehouse budget, controlling costs and maximizing profitability while maintaining high service levels.
8. Coordination and Communication: Act as a liaison between different departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to support overall logistics operations.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
2. Proven track record in managing warehouse and distribution operations.
3. Experience in contract logistics is a plus.
4. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
5. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., APICS, CILT) is preferred.
6. Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
7. Familiarity with logistics software and tools.
