Operations & Logistics Manager

Job Description

A very large transport company is currently looking to fill the role of Operations & Logistics Manager in the medical Manufacturing sector.

Requirements:

1. Degree graduate in a Business or Logistics discipline(s) or equivalent
2. Project Management and/or Finance qualifications are of advantage
3. Fluency in English
4. Well versed in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio or other flow charting software and/or Microsoft Project
5. Strong knowledge of IT systems & tools and their implications for business processes
6. 5-10 years' experience in operations with a preference in a customer facing role
7. 5-6 years’ experience in People Management role with demonstrated success in building, managing, motivating and developing strong operations teams
8. Process Lean/Excellence/Six Sigma tools, training and/or certification experience of advantage
9. Experience in international environment desirable
