Operations / Food & Beverage Manager

My client, a well-known and established Resort and Conference Venue in Mpumalanga, is recruiting for an Operations / F&B Manager.

Remuneration:

Qualifications:

1. Grade 12
2. Hotel School Diploma or similar
3. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Department Manager (GM, F&B Manager, Rooms Division)
4. Minimum of 3 years experience in an Operations Management position in a 4 / 5 Star Hotel / Lodge.

Requirements:

1. Experience in all different areas of a Hotel / Lodge.
2. Polite, friendly person with a strong personality that can think on their feet.
3. Well spoken and well presented individual.
4. Strong leader who has been in charge of employees before.
5. Must be computer literate.
6. Previous experience on Micros POS and Opera PMS systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Effective leadership, managing and overseeing all departments within the Lodge / Resort.
2. Plan and manage the day-to-day operations effectively.
3. Drive the broader goals of the hotel in relation to all outlets mentioned above.
4. Ensure consistent acquisition and maintenance of guests.
5. Manage Human Resources paperwork for the entire hotel.
6. Ensure required policies, procedures, and administrative systems and controls are in place.
7. Day-to-day guest interaction to receive feedback and actively implement necessary action.
8. Oversee and assist in departmental stock takes.
9. Adherence to all company practices.
10. Lead, train, and motivate the team.
11. Drive the hotel's quality plan and implement all required standards.
