Purpose of the Job: To provide exceptional customer service, planning and coordinating delivery routes, collections & deliveries within the allotted time.
Required Qualifications:
Matric
2 years’ experience in this field.
Experience in Navis (Import and Export bookings, preadvise, container checks)
Understanding depot and shipping line procedures (last free day for empty returns)
Understanding port procedures and have NAVIS experience
Technical Competencies & Experience:
Manage emails/ telephonic communication & timeous feedback to clients
Monitor drivers’ activities and routes to prevent route deviations and/or time delays thereby providing excellent customer services
Complete bulk checks on Navis to ensure all products are assigned & released for collection. Ensuring no holds on shipments.
Provide expected product lists to ICS and outside customers.
Making appointments for collection of cargo.
Plan truck & trailer CORs when the Transport Manager advises
Work according to client’s SOPs and procedures.
