Our client, a leading mining company in the Northern Cape, is seeking a skilled Superintendent Enterprise Systems to manage and optimize company-wide systems across the entire value chain from planning and mining to production, load-out, and dispatch. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, system continuity, and operational efficiency, driving business improvements through accurate decision-making and enhanced productivity. Key Responsibilities
System Management and Optimization:
Oversee and optimize enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and system integration across all company operations.
Ensure continuous system performance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to maintain business continuity.
Process Management:
Manage and improve key processes within the total value chain, from planning through mining, production, load-out, and dispatch.
Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase system productivity, reliability, and data accuracy.
Plant and Mining System Operations:
Supervise and coordinate the operations of plant and mining systems, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
Project Management:
Lead and manage enterprise system-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timeline adherence, and cost management.
Staff Supervision:
Lead and mentor staff within the enterprise systems team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
SHERQ Adherence:
Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, environmental, risk, and quality (SHERQ) standards across all system operations and processes.
Qualifications and Experience
B-Degree / BTech Degree (NQF Level 7 360 credits) in IT / MIS / Business systems or equivalent
Certificate in Supervisory / Management / ARM or equivalent (NQF Level 4 150 credits) Recommended
Minimum of five (5) years operational IT systems / data analysis / systems management / systems integration experience.
Minimum of two (2) years operational open cast mining industry experience.
Minimum of two (2) years operational Supervisory / Management stakeholder relations experience.
Advanced user of MS Office.
Intermediate user of mine planning packages, MineStar, MineSuite, SCADA, QMaster, JDE, SQL, DB Scripts, and information structure.
