Our client is a multi-vendor, value-added solutions provider with branches in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town offering Managed IT Services. They are looking for an Onsite Support Technician to join their branch in Sandton, Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To support ESSN Enterprise software, servers, storage and networking products to existing and potential clients.
• To support SLAs to existing and potential clients.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide telephone, face to face and online support to the client.
• Client liaison and communication to assist and resolve the clients IT system requirements within the agreed SLAs.
• Provide customer service and manage accounts to retain a long term business partnership.
• You must provide high level of product knowledge to enable you to understand the company's value proposition, product range and service requirements.
• Training and certification will be mandatory as prescribed by the company.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• A+; N+ - MCP or MCSE or IT Diploma.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 5 Years working experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to learn and update your IT knowledge.
• The ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Maintain a corporate image.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to understand clients' needs urgently to achieve optimum service.
