On-the-Road Sales Specialist - North & West JHB

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and update an online diary (with admin team support).
• Conduct store visits:
  • Take orders during visits and record them on the online ordering portal.
  • Duties include:
    • Product launches.
    • Stock merchandising (retail and professional).
    • Troubleshooting.
    • Product spotlights and other value-adds.
• Uphold company SOPs and KPIs to manage and grow an existing client base.

Skills and Competencies:

Hard Skills:

• Computer Literacy:
  • Software: Online ordering portal, Skynamo tracking system, OneDrive, Outlook, Excel.
• Ability to take and process orders promptly, including after-hours if necessary.

Soft Skills:

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexible communication skills across multiple platforms (WhatsApp, emails, calls, online diary).
• Quick learner, with the ability to follow SOPs.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Experience:
  • On-the-road sales experience is essential.
  • Professional nail experience/training is advantageous but not required.
• Transport:
  • Must own a reliable car with a valid driver's license.
  • Must have insurance to cover a rental car in case of emergencies.
• Working Hours:
  • First appointment: 8:30 AM.
  • Last appointment: 4:45 PM, followed by a 15-minute voice call with the sales team.
  • Minimum 5-8 client visits daily, pre-booked and scheduled for the next two months.
• Training:
  • Participation in bi-monthly remote training (morning or evening sessions) is compulsory.
• Work Restrictions:
  • No additional work commitments, including beauty salon work or studies for alternative careers, are permitted.
• Family Support:
  • Must have support for children (where applicable) due to full-time working hours.
• Appearance:
  • Must maintain a professional and presentable appearance (clothes, hair, makeup).
