Administrative Oversight: Supervising office activities to ensure productivity and cost control.
Following up with various employees regarding different tasks for completion or information needed per tender.
Payroll and Accounting: Printing payslips and liaising with HR contractors.
Human Resources: Handling employee evaluations or complaints and enforcing company policies (ad hoc).
Inventory Management: Monitoring and ordering office supplies, and following up on stock queries or invoicing from the stock controller.
Customer Service: Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external parties.
Follow-up on excel and word sheets regarding contracts or African USD markets.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate booking records and ensuring timely processing and updates.
Processing customer/supplier invoicing and bank reconciliations, along with other financial record keeping and filing.
Assisting with administrative tasks regarding annual audits.
Customer Invoicing: Per store (multi-stores and consignment stock invoicing).
Assistant to Financial Manager Functions:
Financial Reporting: Assisting in administrative functions regarding SARS and other correspondence, quotations, and liaising between various parties.
Data Analysis: Supporting the financial manager in quotations (mostly US Dollar quotes) and any ad hoc duties.
Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulations and company policies.
This is a probation position with the potential to become permanent.
