Office Administrator required for a reputable manufacturing company based in Wilsonia , East London

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) is essential; a certificate/diploma in Office Administration will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ administrative experience, preferably in a factory or industrial setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience handling cash and financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, factory environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, managing emails, and welcoming clients or visitors.
  • Handle cash sales – including issuing invoices, receiving payments, and balancing daily sales records.
  • Compile and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports for the Owner and Accountant.
  • Maintain and organize office files, documentation, and confidential records.
  • Manage office supplies and factory consumables – monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Support management with general operational tasks and correspondence.
  • Coordinate factory staff time sheets and assist with basic HR/admin processes.
  • Ensure that the office and reception areas remain clean, organized, and professional.
  • Liaise with suppliers, delivery personnel, and clients as needed
