Office & Accounts Administrator (JB5247)

Randburg, Johannesburg, Gauteng

R25 000 CTC per month (based on experience)

Our client, a niche property investment and asset management company specializing in the commercial retail and industrial property sectors, is seeking an office and accounts administrator to join its team.

You will play a key role in keeping operations streamlined and financially organized. This in-office position combines high-level administrative support with hands-on bookkeeping and personal assistant responsibilities. You will work closely with senior leadership and be involved in the day-to-day operations of the property investment and management business. A background or interest in the property sector will serve you well, as you will be exposed to various aspects of the commercial and retail property portfolio. Minimum Requirements:

  1. Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role
  2. Relevant qualifications in administration, finance, or accounting
  3. Strong administrative background
  4. Proven bookkeeping and personal assistant knowledge
  5. Proficiency in Pastel and Microsoft Excel is non-negotiable
  6. Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work independently and take initiative
  8. Experience in the property industry is advantageous
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive administrative and personal assistant support to senior leadership
  2. Manage scheduling, communications, travel arrangements, and general office tasks
  3. Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and basic accounting functions
  4. Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting using Pastel and Excel
  5. Maintain and update financial records with a high level of accuracy
  6. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and property-related stakeholders where relevant
  7. Handle confidential information with discretion
