Plan, develop and administer policies and procedures of the Occupational Health Centre;
Manage clinic resources to meet the RBCT’s Occupational Health objectives;
Budget formulation and control;
Primary health care;
Provide care and wellness to employees that leads to the promotion, protection and restoration of the employee’s occupational health and hygiene within a safe working environment;
Comply with legal requirements and RBCT policies and procedures;
Emergency preparedness and business continuity management;
Projects.
Qualifications
B Tech in Occupational Health Nursing; Degree in Nursing Administration or equivalent will be advantageous
Certificate in Audiometry (update), spirometry, dispensary licence; 5 years management experience in an Occupational Health environment
Management Development Program (MDP); ISO 45001 : 2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System
SAMTRAC & SHE Auditing (advantageous)
Working knowledge of procedures followed when dealing with the Compensation Commissioner; Registration with South African Nursing Council.

Basic Ambulance course
Dispensing course
Ability to establish rapport at all levels within the organisation
Strong IT skills (MS Office and SAP); sound knowledge of relevant legislation.
