About the Role:

We are looking for a Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a freshly qualified CA to apply their knowledge in a practical setting, assisting with financial reporting, tax filings, and regulatory compliance. As a part of our fully remote team, you’ll help with various financial tasks while contributing to the strategic direction of the company.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
2. Support audits and financial regulatory filings.
3. Conduct financial analysis and generate reports.
4. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
5. Ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting regulations.
6. Manage accounts receivable and payable.
7. Help in preparing and filing tax returns.
8. Maintain accurate financial records.
9. Collaborate with the senior finance team on various financial matters.
10. Contribute to process improvements in financial operations.

Qualifications:

1. Recently completed Chartered Accountant qualification.
2. Registered with the relevant professional society (e.g., SAICA).
3. Strong understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent attention to detail and time management.
7. Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
8. Ability to work independently and remotely.
9. A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
10. Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure.
