About the Department
The Retail Investment Operations Center plays a crucial role in supporting UOB's commitment to delivering high-quality banking services. We ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction through our dedicated team.

Job Responsibilities

1. Maker-Verification Officer handling validation of customer instructions and pre-processing checks for products such as Time Deposits, Maxiyield, Structured Products, Remittances, Cashiers' Orders and Demand Drafts.
2. Maker for data input and transaction processing in various bank systems.
3. Performs reconciliation and resolves discrepancies in GL / System reports.
4. Monitors and ensures SLAs are met and exception handling is closely monitored and followed up with.
5. Carry out any adhoc assignments / projects as given by Section Head and Department Manager.
6. Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to improve productivity and mitigate risks.
7. Administrative duties such as filing and archival.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree with 1 year of working experience preferred.
2. Open to entry level, training provided.
3. Possesses good PC skills and accurate data input.
4. Systematic and knowledgeable in Deposit, Structured Products and Remittances.
5. Disciplined and able to work independently.
6. Open to contract role.
