New Business Development & Technical Consultant - Industrial Hygiene | Gauteng

Our client, a leading hygiene and sanitation solutions provider, is seeking a New Business Development & Technical Consultant to join their Brushware business in Gauteng. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive new business development by calling on large corporate clients, as well as having a hand in marketing.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to manufacturing, agricultural, and food processing sectors, as well as an understanding of food safety regulations.

Duties:

• Identify new markets and customer needs to ensure value-added service.
• Promote the company’s products.
• Achieve daily and weekly call ratios to ensure targets are met.
• Manage purchase analysis, customer segmentation, product, and service analysis.
• Improve and maintain the standard of service.
• Build market position by defining and closing business relationships with new customers.
• Provide assistance with implementing suggested plans and strategies.
• Create and present sales strategies.
• Follow up with regular meetings with both active and prospective clients.
• Develop your own customer database.
• Negotiate sales and clinch business deals.
• Initiate invoicing & payment.
• Conduct handing over of new contracts to operations.
• Send weekly and monthly reports to the Line Manager.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in sales.
• Hunter personality.
• General business exposure.
• Ability to analyze sales data and statistics.
• Hygiene and cleaning chemical experience preferable; will also consider candidates with experience in selling pumps or pressure hoses.
• Excellent client relationship building skills.

CTC - R35 - R45k + commission + provident fund.
