Network Systems Engineer Stellenbosch - Hybrid

Introduction
Our ICT client based in Stellenbosch CT is looking to employ a Network Systems Developer to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will spend 80% of their time with software development and 20% of their time with implementation and architecture. They will work with Network Engineers, Architects, and Operations to implement solutions. The candidate must be very strong with Python and scripting languages, with Ansible being a must. Ideally, they should have a basic network background and be strong on systems, specifically network systems, including monitoring systems and network automation systems such as ACS platforms, Zabbix, Greylog, The Dude, Ansible, Splunk, AWS hosting platforms, Proxmox, and Grafana.

Desired Experience & Qualification
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be based in CT / Stellenbosch (3 days in office - HYBRID)
- 3+ years work experience in an ISP / FNO / ICT / Telecoms company
- 3+ years Python programming experience
- 3+ years Ansible experience
- 3+ years experience with scripting languages
- 3+ years experience with network systems
- 3+ years experience with monitoring systems and network automation systems: ACS platforms, Zabbix, Greylog, The Dude, Ansible, Splunk, AWS hosting platforms, Proxmox, and Grafana.
- Must have experience working with Linux Operating systems
- Databases
- Some Front End development
