Network Engineer - Wireless specialist - Contract

The Network Engineer - Wireless Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining wireless network infrastructure. This role ensures optimal performance, security, and reliability of all wireless network components.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and deploy wireless network infrastructure including access points, controllers, and related hardware.
2. Configure and manage wireless network devices to ensure stable and secure connectivity.
3. Implement and manage security measures to protect wireless networks from threats.
4. Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
5. Monitor wireless network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
6. Conduct regular network performance tests and inspections.
7. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for wireless network issues.
8. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex problems.
9. Maintain detailed documentation of wireless network configurations and layouts.
10. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in wireless network engineering.
3. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA Wireless, or similar.
