MUSIC ACADEMY / PIANO TEACHER

Maternity cover: September – November 2025

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced part-time piano teacher to join our dynamic team at the Cornwall Hill College Music Academy in September 2025.

The core functions of the position include:

• Monday – Thursday (from 06:30 – 14:00)
• Teaching of individual piano lessons – Beginner to Advanced level
• Assistance with music functions relevant to pupils taught by him/her

The successful applicant will:

• Be SACE registered
• Have a proven track record as a highly skilled and experienced Piano Teacher with the ability to teach beginners to advanced pupils.
• BMus Degree or equivalent is essential.
• Show a good track record of entering pupils for Music Exams (TCL, Rockschool, ABRSM, IEB), Eisteddfods and Competitions.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have the ability to work well in a team.
• Accompaniment experience would be advantageous.
