About Laapeng Foundation

Laapeng Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization founded in 2005, dedicated to developing interventional projects for holistic youth-focused development. Our focus areas include:

  1. HIV/AIDS and Substance Abuse Prevention and Awareness
  2. Gender Based Violence
  3. TB/STI screenings
  4. Adolescents Young Girls and Women (AGYW) in school program
  5. Adolescents Young Boys and Men (ABYM)
  6. Youth Development including Skills Programs, Internships, and Learnerships

We are currently funded by the Institution of Health Programs and System (IHPS) as a Sub-Sub-Recipient (SSR) to implement the AYP program from October 2023 to March 2025.

Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation Manager

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract

Anticipated Start Date: 01 October 2024

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in M&E, Information Management, Data Processing and Data Analysis (Data Management), Social Sciences, Statistics, Health Information Systems, or other relevant disciplines
  2. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in M&E
  3. Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience
  4. Demonstrated experience in data management and reporting systems, including tools development, data capturing, analysis, and report writing
  5. Experience working in Global Fund, PEPFAR, or other donor-funded projects (added advantage)
  6. Basic understanding of government M&E systems including DOH, DSD, and DOE
  7. Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Power Point, Excel) and Database software

Key Performance Areas:

  1. Lead the overall development, planning, implementation, and coordination of M&E activities at the Subdistrict level to track program performance against set objectives
  2. Oversee overall data collection, validation, and reporting by all teams implementing the AYP program in the sub-district
  3. Establish and manage M&E relationships with key stakeholders (government departments, schools, community leadership, etc.)
  4. Advocate for the implementation of the biometric data collection system with various stakeholders and government departments
  5. Ensure AYP program reporting is aligned with relevant government information management systems for data sharing and reporting
  6. Work with the data collection team to ensure all program-related data is collected, validated, reported, and utilized accurately and timeously to inform evidence-based program planning and implementation
