Are you ready to make an impact in a growing organisation? Join our dynamic Global Tech Operation as a Modern Workplace Engineer!

In this role you'll be at the forefront of implementing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft 365 technologies including Azure AD, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online. You'll manage user accounts, groups, licenses, and permissions, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the setup, deployment, and troubleshooting of Intune for device and application management, as well as testing, planning, and deploying new vendor patches, operating systems, and software releases.

You'll maintain SharePoint environments to enhance document management and collaboration, troubleshoot issues, provide 3rd line support, and guide end-users on M365 tools and features. If you're passionate about technology and eager to make a global impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Every day you will…

  • Use Intune to deploy software and ensure all users can receive and use the software they need whilst carrying out testing and deployment of patches/updates to ensure software remains free from known bugs or security flaws.
  • Use MDM (Mobile Device Management) tools to ensure all devices connecting to the network are appropriately managed and kept compliant to security standards.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites, deploying new sites and keeping SharePoint up to date with the latest best practice and security recommendations.
  • Maintain Azure AD (Active Directory) including users, groups, licenses, MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), SSO (Single Sign On) and Conditional Access keeping Azure AD running optimally and secured.
  • Manage and report on the use of all installed software on end user devices to ensure we remain compliant to licensing requirements and security.

To thrive in this role, you must have...

  • Demonstrable experience in Microsoft 365 technologies; MS Teams, Exchange Online with an understanding of using Intune for software deployment.
  • Expertise in Azure AD and SharePoint maintenance and administration tasks.
  • Prior 2nd/3rd line experience supporting users with a positive approach to problem solving and offering a solution-focused mindset.
  • Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal to ensure we are delivering the best possible service to our organisation and users.
