The Job

The Mobile Security Lead is responsible for leading and implementing security strategies for mobile applications and devices across the organization. This role ensures the security of mobile applications, platforms, and infrastructure through the implementation of security controls, conducting assessments, and working closely with mobile development teams.

The position focuses on protecting sensitive data on mobile platforms while maintaining a balance between security and user experience.

You will be responsible for:

1. Conducting penetration testing, simulating an attack on the system to find exploitable weaknesses.
2. Developing and implementing security framework, policies, processes / procedures, and guidelines.
3. Maintaining security subject-matter expertise and keep abreast of best practices & trends.
4. Managing vulnerability assessment.
5. Oversight & resolution of security incidents.

The Profile

Required Education & Certifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
2. Industry certifications such as:

• GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB)
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
• Mobile App Security Certification from OWASP
• Apple Security Certification (preferred)
• Android Security Certification (preferred)

You possess a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. You have at least 7 years of experience, ideally within an IT Security role. You have good interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes. You have working knowledge of mobile security, MDM, GMOB, security architectures, OWASP, and API security. You are a strong networker & relationship builder. You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data. You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
